Today it’s all SUVs, represented at their worst by thug rappers in hummers with massive chrome wheels. Oh how fall we have fallen.

What ever happened to Errol Flynn’s Auburn Automobile? Did it survive or has it vanished forever? Pete

Topper car isn’t a cord but a 1936 Buick made to look like a cord. Later re-bodied to a 54 Imperial. The Cord was too small for what the studio was looking for. This car isn’t even supercharged as those pipes are fake.

Flynn’s famed Mulholland Drive mansion is still-standing, very rare for whats left of an empire called HOLLYWOOD!

He had it built in 1942 & *Dreyfuss, Rick Nelson-(of whom lived there when he died in the l980 plane crash)

when I visited-(2005) the “Tree People” were in charge & you couldn’t get very close, unfortunately

Superb stuff on “The King of Movie Cool: Steve McQueen”

    & all the rest

(TRIVIA: When McQueen used to run in the crooss country biking he used the alias of (Harvey Mushmun)

Unfortunately Errol Flynn’s house on Mulholland was demolished in 1988. What you probably saw was the new place which is built on the same plot. Justin Timberlake lives there now. Would still like to know if any of Flynn’s cars survived. Can some one put their feelers out. I live in Sydney Australia and a bit too far away for me to investigate. Cheers Pete.
